Osasuna Calls 22 Players for Season Finale Against Getafe
Club and homegrown player reach a contract extension agreement
Club Atlético Osasuna has re-signed defender Jorge Herrando through June 30, 2030, the club announced. The homegrown player and the club have extended their partnership for three additional seasons. The contract includes a 20 million euro LaLiga EA Sports buyout clause. Herrando and sporting director Braulio Vázquez will address the media at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
Jorge Herrando Oroz (born Feb. 28, 2001, in Campanas, Navarra) will continue his career with his hometown club, which he joined as a teenager from Luis Amigó school. After a successful stint in the academy, he joined Osasuna’s first affiliate, Osasuna Promesas, playing 94 matches. He made his first-team debut in a Copa del Rey match against Tomares at La Cartuja, then joined Unión Deportiva Logroñés on loan. With the first team, he has played 65 official matches and scored two goals.
